  11. This note describes how to use the reset utility.  Feed back on any
  12. problem from users is welcome. Please see detail later for reporting
  13. bugs.

  16. How to install SBRESET
  17. ----------------------
  18.  
  19. Copy the file SBRESET.COM to your Sound Blaster directory.  The actual
  20. directory name depends on the card as follows.

  29. Using SBRESET
  30. -------------

  32. SBRESET will perform a reset of the Sound Blaster card by initializing
  33. the Digital Sound Processor (DSP) and FM Synthesizer chip.  If you
  34. have a Sound Blaster Pro/Pro2/Pro MCV/16, it will also reset the
  35. mixer.

  37. To reset your card, be sure that your BLASTER environment setting is
  38. correct.  If it is not correct, SBRESET will return an error. See the
  39. installation secton of your manual for instructions on setting up the
  40. BLASTER environment variable.

  42. At the DOS prompt type SBRESET and press Enter.  If the reset is
  43. successful, the output will look similar to the one shown below,
  44. depending on the type of card you have.
